I’m sure you’ve probably been in a place where you started to question if God’s protection was really there for you. A lot of Christians have. So, what do we do next? Well, one of the first steps is knowing how to build up our faith in God’s protection. Let’s check out what Psalm 121:7-8 (NLT) says “The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.”This is a really good verse to remember when you’re feeling like your faith in God’s protection is weak. The great thing about God is that He’s got a solution for everything we go through. He gives us ways to get closer to Him and strengthen our faith. Things like fasting and praying are powerful tools, especially when we’re unsure of what to do.
God’s protection is always perfect; nothing He does ever fails or goes to waste. He’s promised to protect us, and God keeps His promises. Romans 11:29 (NLT) says, “For God’s gifts and His call can never be withdrawn.”That means it doesn’t matter where we are or what we’re doing—whether we're shopping, hanging out with family and friends, or just relaxing at home—God is always watching over us.
Psalm 91:4 (NLT) says, “He will cover you with His feathers. He will shelter you with His wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.” We might not even know everything God does behind the scenes to keep us safe. But every time we make it home safe, it’s like God was parting the Red Sea for us during the day. There are so many things that could happen to us, but because of His endless grace and mercy, God covers us and lets us live in peace. Waking up every day, healthy and with a sound mind, is a reminder of how much God loves us and values our lives. He will keep His promise to protect us, and we can trust this with all our hearts.
