2 Thessalonians 3:3 (NIV) says, “But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.”
Whenever we are in a situation where we think something harmful or bad might happen, it is always important to talk to God about it. That may seem like a very common thing for some people to do, but for others, they may not think to pray and ask God for help. They may not know that He is our Protector, and that we can turn to Him when we are in danger or afraid.
No matter how bad things seem, we can trust Him to handle it. Praying shows our Heavenly Father that we love Him, and that we trust Him to handle our struggles. The trust that we place in God helps our relationship with Him to grow. We learn that we don't have to face difficult or scary situations by ourselves because God is faithful, and He is always there to strengthen and protect us.
Ephesians 6:10-11 (NIV) says, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”
This verse talks about how we should use God’s Word as a defense against the enemy. As long as we follow Him and do what He says, we can be strong against the attacks we come across.
We have to always remember that God is on our side, even when it doesn’t seem that way in the situations we are going through. All you have to do is learn to go to Him first and lean on Him without having doubts.
Therefore, as you grow in your relationship with God, take time to learn more about Him through His Word. When you have problems or don’t know what to do, go to God first instead of looking for answers everywhere else. Talk to Him about what you are going through and meditate on His wonderful Word. He will help you know what to do and give you the strength you need.
